We played at the Old Clock in Magog last weekend. It was very special because we have been playing outside shows all summer and we had to do 2 shows « face-to-face » with 400 people. We faked all day of the 17th that we forgot Phil’s bday to finally bring him a cake on stage… very funny!
The next day, those who went to bed early had the chance to be introduced to Kite Surfing. We met the owner of Mouvent School the night before and he offered us his services.
One of the biggest advantages of being musicians is that we have the chance to travel. We played on the Islands of Madeleine in 2005 and I was hoping to go back there again one day… I heard through the grape vine that an artist cancelled his show at Pas Perdus. I proposed a solo show as the band had some days off during that period of time. An opportunity to perfect my Kite Surfing J the whole team helped make this happen. I’m a bit nervous because it’s been a while since I’ve played by myself, but I can’t wait!!
….. Ah ….. and for our French friends; we received a lot of emails concerning the news of last week and for us here a submarine is a sandwich J
