Last week has gone so fast! The Vancouver Folk Festival site was next to the water, terrific… Many people came to see our show. We were nervous because Mathieu was sick before we left and we had to do the show with only 3 of us. Something that we’ve never practiced of course! In the end, it went super well and the people seemed to like it. We left Vancouver on the 19th in the evening proud of ourselves. It was 11 PM…
The flight was delayed for Québec (no surprise). It was 11 am when we arrived… our soundcheck on the Plains of Abraham was supposed to be finished by noon (let me tell you that some of us we’re screaming for our luggage to arrive…). So after 15 minutes of soundcheck (thanks to everyone because the sound was perfect…) Sir Paul McCartney arrived for his soundcheck all afternoon. Our legs were shaking and we were really impressed. Finally, we met the Beatle just before he got on stage, it was unbelievable! On our side, the show went so fast, we had so much fun. For sure it was our biggest crowd ever, in our city and we had a good response from the people. A perfect night, THANKS!!
